Emergencies - call  999

You should always call 999 when it is an emergency, such as:

  • When a crime is in progress
  • Someone suspected of a crime is nearby
  • When there is danger to life 
  • When violence is being used or threatened
  • There is a dangerous incident on the road/motorway

Non-Emergencies - call:  101 

You should call 101 when it is less urgent than a 999 call, to report crime and other concerns that do not require an emergency response, such as:

  • Crimes that are not in progress
  • Your car has been stolen
  • Your property has been damaged
  • You suspect drug use or dealing in your neighbourhood
 Or to:
  • Give the police information about crime in your area
  • Speak to the police about a general enquiry

The local police station in Tadley closed to the public in 2012, however, members of the public are welcome to go along to the station to speak to officers - Mulfords Hill, Tadley, RG26 3HZ
