Silchester AssociationSilchester Association is the residents association for Silchester and 90% of households in village are paid up members of the Association. The Association organise various events in the village such as the Children’s Christmas party, Older Children’s outings, Senior citizens outings, Dances, Talks, The Fun Run and The Bonfire and Fireworks display.
The Association is run by a committee of volunteers who are elected at the AGM.
Objectives of the Association are:

To conserve the rural character of the village

To maintain the beauties and amenities of the Common

To encourage all aspects of the Village community life

To act on matters of concern to the residents of the Village
