Silchester Common Management Committee

Silchester Common Management Committee is a sub-committee of Silchester Parish Council.  It was set up to manage Silchester Common, which lies between the villages of Silchester and Pamber Heath and is part of a large Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). 

The SCMC is chaired by a Parish Councillor and has members from the Parish Council, Silchester Association, Silchester Commoners and Hampshire Wildlife Trust.

Local groups have representation to ensure that local issues and concerns are considered as part of the SCMC's decision making process.
